Dr Singh has been associated for development of syllabi, textbooks, teachers training materials, exemplar problems, laboratory manuals in Science and Mathematics for various stages of school education as well as books for B Ed courses. He has promoted the usage of laboratories for learning by doing mathematics and currently there are several such labs in NCERT and across the country. Dr Singh was also Chairman of Management Committee, Kendriya Vidyalaya, Andrewsganj, New Delhi.

Dr Bindu Mohanty
Dr Mohanty, PhD, is a writer, educator and sustainability consultant based in Auroville, an international and experimental town.

As a consultant, she is co-founder of earth&us with experience in the fields of rural development and waste management. Specifically, as a trustee and advisor of the Auroville Village Action Group, she worked in fields of women’s empowerment and socially development, and children’s education in the villages of Auroville. She is currently engaged in waste management programs with the governments of Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
As an educator, she has served as senior faculty for an international study-abroad program, taught at European and American universities, facilitated participatory workshops, and helped in curriculum development of college-level courses.

In the early eighties, he founded the non-profit Student’s Sea Turtle Conservation Network (SSTCN) which for the past 27 years has been working towards sensitizing people about the environment. Shri Abraham has also worked for Greenpeace India as Director, Public Mobilization & Fund-Raising. He has founded DreamCatcher, an Outdoor Education Company which ran some of the earliest “Outward Bound” style programs in India.

Dr Swain is an MD in Anesthesia and recently retired as the Joint Director (Medical & Health Services & HOD – Anaesthesia & OTs from Ispat General Hospital, SAIL’s premier multispecialty hospital in Rourkela.
Dr Swain is an MD in Anesthesia and recently retired as the Joint Director (Medical & Health Services & HOD – Anaesthesia & OTs from Ispat General Hospital, SAIL’s premier multispecialty hospital in Rourkela. Dr Swain is the father of a daughter with intellectual disability (Down’s Syndrome). This gave him a unique opportunity to work with children with intellectual and other disabilities. Dr Swain has worked extensively on inclusion and disability over the last 25 years and will play a key role in enabling the schools to be sensitive to the requirements of all sections of society and ensure that our students are similarly sensitive their needs and requirements.

Shri Mukherjee is a Bachelor of Architecture (B Arch) from SPA (School of Planning & Architecture, New Delhi, India). He then did his post graduation S.M.Arch.S. at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, U.S.A.

He attended the S.M.Arch.S. programme on Design and Housing as an Inlaks Scholar, with an additional scholarship from MIT.
In 1984, he participated in the National Architectural Design Competition to design The New Wing of the NGMA (National Gallery of Modern Art), New Delhi. The design entry was awarded the first prize, and in 1985 he went on to become a founding partner of the architectural and planning consultancy firm TEAM (Team for Engineering Architecture and Management, New Delhi).
